The gap
The Series 1 E-Type is the most beautiful car ever made. It never got the engine it deserved — until now.
It is said that Enzo Ferrari called it the most beautiful car ever made, and Malcolm Sayer drew it in 1961. But the E-Type spent its life making do — first with the XK six, then with a production V12 that traded revs for torque. The Re-Imagined returns to the purity of the earliest cars and gives them the quad-cam V12 they were always waiting for.
Why it's different
Three decisions define the finished car.

The engine Jaguar should have built
Our own tera quad-cam V12, four camshafts and an 8,500rpm redline, in 5.0, 6.1, 6.8 or 7.3 litres. Normally aspirated or forced induction, from street-spec to full-race.
2.
Hand-formed, never stamped
An aluminium body shaped by hand over an English wheel, fitted to a modified and strengthened chassis/monocoque jigged to dimension from the original engineering drawings. Every panel is placed by hand — fidelity you can measure, not just admire.
3.
Tailored to one owner
Coupe, roadster, speedster or lowdrag ("CUT 7" or "Lindner-Nocker"), left- or right-hand drive, and a bespoke interior limited only by your imagination.

Heritage
1961. The line was right the first time.
Unveiled at Geneva in 1961, Malcolm Sayer's E-Type stopped the world. The earliest cars carried a purity that was slowly lost as the series evolved — a purity we set out to recapture. The E-Type Re-Imagined honours those first cars, then gives them the quad-cam V12 they were always waiting for.
